This project by S. Golovach includes 20 black and white panoramic photographs (25×61 cm). The exhibition will take place at the «Fine Art» Gallery from 24.03 to 9.04.2005.

Serge Golovach’s provocative and even shocking photographs are addressed to our subconscious, to the desires, motives, fears and joys, hidden inside it and to our suppressed freedom. Their highly individual nature and artistic ingenuity made his name well-known on the Moscow art-scene.

Serge Golovach moved to Moscow from Birobidzhan four years ago. He has conducted a number of projects, working with nude models, in the sphere of fashion, ballet and show-business. His one-man shows, dedicated to the male body, praised freedom and beauty, even though their sincerity and candor shocked a part of the audience.

«The Peeper» deals with introversive states, when a human being is alone with his ego, when the outside world seems to be completely forgotten, does not exist, and only the eye of a camera, catching such moments, can express them visually.

S. Golovach is fascinated with states that precede a certain event. We can see the artist in the process of creating a new image for a performance, for a male ballet show and gender performances, when fashion dictates that man does not behave as a male, does not lead a masculine way of life.
